Booking Terms & Conditions
• Customers should remove all personal belongings, money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of detailing
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property including the vehicle being serviced, any belongings contained inside of the vehicle or to the location of service. Assure that your vehicle is being serviced in a lawful and safe area and if you feel otherwise please communicate your concerns with the technician. Prior to your arrival we request that all personal property be removed from your vehicle. Please remove all your personal property from the interior, including cargo area, trunk, under seats, center console, glove box and any other compartment where you would like us to clean. The compartments containing personal belongings will not be cleaned or emptied by our detail team. We do not clean or open the spare tire compartment of vehicles unless we have been notified by you and you have removed the spare tire, tools and any other item from this compartment.
• All vehicles are cleaned at the customers own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes.
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC does not accept liability for discharged batteries during or after the service has been completed. Please inspect your vehicle after the service is rendered to assure all interior lights, headlights, or running lights have been turned off.
• We cannot guarantee any firm times when accepting your booking.
• Our detailing times are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfill the detailing type
• We reserve the right to use any independent contractor to undertake your auto detailing and may need to change the detailer at short notice without penalty.
• Whilst every effort will be made to keep scheduled bookings to the requested arrival window, unforeseen circumstances may cause lateness and are done so without voiding our cancellation policy.
• We reserve the right to take a debit or credit card details to secure the booking. Debit/Credit cards shall be processed by Stripe.com and/or Squareup.com.
• We reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with staffing levels and/or weather conditions and /or machinery or equipment failure.
• All vehicles are cleaned at the customers own risk
• All orders placed require package, and vehicle condition verification. Service requests are not guaranteed at time of booking and may be cancelled at anytime at the sole discretion of Malama Auto Detailing LLC. Malama Auto Detailing LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked detailing
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviors be encountered
Pre-Authorization
• Upon booking an appointment for our services, a pre-authorization charge of 20% of the total service cost will be placed on your payment method. This pre-authorization is not a charge but a temporary hold to verify your card information. The pre-authorization charge will be immediately released. The release of the hold may take several business days, depending on your financial institution.
Pricing Terms & Conditions
Service Price Change policy:
• The majority of the vehicles we service pay the advertise price but all vehicles are subject to inspection prior to starting the service; we do this to identify areas that may need extra work that is not covered by the advertised price. We have an optional fee for dog hair removal, heavily soiled carpet, heavy soiled exterior, muddy exterior, sand on the interior and/or exterior, very dirty interior and dark colored vehicles that are getting paint correction that varies by size and condition of vehicle. We highly recommend the dog hair removal for interior details and we would let you know if this is recommended to provide you with a better service but the choice is up to you.
• Our prices are based on detailing type, type of car and condition of the vehicle and will be advertised as a START price.
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle.
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC reserves the right to amend any price during the detailing should it differ from the original estimate
Late payments
• Late fee penalties are an additional 10% of your service total every day the invoice goes unpaid beyond its due date until paid in full. No exceptions!
• No further service will be scheduled until previous invoices ares paid in full.
Communications
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC will send you SMS text messages and/or email to confirm your service request, updates on the services provided, confirmations, reviews, etc. Depending on your mobile phone service, you may incur costs from these SMS text messages from your mobile phone service provider. CarDetailing.com is not responsible for any of these potential costs.
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC may provide your order request to any detailer within our network or out of our network to fulfill your request in a timely manner.
• When your service request is matched to a provider, your name, phone number, service address and vehicle information will be shared with that service provider.
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC may call you directly to schedule your service. In the event of a canceled request, we may call you to inquire about your reasons for canceling.
• All inbound and outbound customer service calls may be recorded for quality assurance.
Our Service Terms & Conditions
• We may ask you where you heard about Malama Auto Detailing LLC in order to gauge our marketing strategies
• We may conduct customer satisfaction surveys
• We must have permission to hold a debit or credit card to secure a regular booking and we will charge the card after each visit.
• We reserve the right to charge a debit or credit card the full amount should the vehicles(s) not be available for cleaning and the booking has not been cancelled in advance (see cancellation policy)
Cancellation Terms & Conditions
• We require 48 hours notice from the confirmation window to cancel any booking/detailing service. All appointments must be cancelled online with the link provided in your email confirmation.
• Failure to provide 48 hours advance notice of cancellation will result in a minimum charge of 25% of the service cost.
• Same day appointments that are cancelled will incur a charge of 25% of the service cost.
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC reserves the right to take full payment if a booking is cancelled on the day without prior agreement.
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible will let the customer know.
• Malama Auto Detailing LLC reserves the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance to its staff levels, weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.
• Failure to be present at the time and location of the ordered service will result in the full value of the service being charged.
Service Guarantee
• If there is probable and clear cause that the service technician did not fulfill the package as ordered or there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, we will at our cost refund or redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service.
• Cleaning or repairing the vehicle personally or professionally after the initial service without authorization from Malama Auto Detailing LLC voids our Service Guarantee. Redos, refunds, or reimbursements will not be made after any unauthorized cleaning or repairs.
• Refusing a redo appointment for the unsatisfactory portion of your service limits any refunds to 20% of the value of your service.
• Failure to disclose at the time of booking any conditional issues that involve heavy stains, foul odors, human or animal biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, chemical overspray or any other hazardous materials voids our service guarantee. No refunds, redos, or any additional work will be performed outside of the original package or estimate.
• Some issues may require services beyond those you ordered. Refusing the services recommended by customer service or your on-site technician may invalidate the service guarantee.
• Only services included in your order and additional services authorized by Malama Auto Detailing LLC are covered under our service guarantee. Any services not authorized by Malama Auto Detailing LLC are at customer's own risk.
• Our on-site technician may take photographs and/or videos to document the before and after condition of your vehicle, including the license plate. Preventing the technician from doing so will invalidate our service guarantee and any redo appointments or refunds are at the sole discretion of Malama Auto Detailing LLC.
• Payment is due at the completion of your service. Refusal or failure to pay for your service invalidates our service guarantee and any redo services or discounts are at the sole discretion of Malama Auto Detailing LLC.
• Filing a credit card dispute/chargeback for billed services invalidates our service guarantee and no refunds or redo appointments will be authorized
• Claims must be filed within 24 hours of the completion of the service by using our email, malamadetailing@gmail.com
Release of Liability
This Agreement for services is entered into between (client) and Malama Auto Detailing LLC.
From here on client will be referred as “I”
The above-mentioned parties hereby agree to the following terms:
Damages to Vehicle:
I hereby agree that Malama Auto Detailing LLC shall not be held liable for any mechanical condition or pre-existing conditions such as dents, scratches & any other pre-existing damages to the vehicle’s interior &/or exterior nor for the loss or damage of articles/belongings left in vehicle due to, a case of fire, theft, accident, service provided or any other cause beyond Malama Auto Detailing LLCʻs control. It is your responsibility to point out items that are fragile or no longer functional in many cases the damage is not noticeable due to the state of the vehicle prior to detailing. I agree that I am responsible to go over my vehicle with an Malama Auto Detailing LLCʻs member, staff, or representative before they leave the premises. I release Malama Auto Detailing LLC from any liability pertaining to my vehicle or belongings after they have turned in the keys and/or I have left the premises after completion. I agree that Malama Auto Detailing LLC will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property including the vehicle being serviced, or any belongings contained inside of the vehicle. I understand that my vehicle will be cleaned at my own risk and it must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes and that any damage claims as a result of cleaning will be limited to the cost of the service and I will have to present at least 2 diagnostics and/or price estimates to prove the damage was caused by Malama Auto Detailing LLC.
Engine Cleaning:
I hereby agree that Auto Detail Factory shall not be held liable for any problem that may arise if I request Auto Detail Factory to clean or wipe down the engine &/or engine compartment.
Vehicle Operation:
I hereby authorize Malama Auto Detailing LLC to operate submitted vehicle for the purposes of delivery, service, accommodation for space, inspection or any other reasons deemed necessary at my risk.
Cleaning / Detailing Interior:
I hereby authorize Malama Auto Detailing LLC if my vehicle’s interior is being detailed or cleaned to use a chemical cleaning solution to clean the steering wheel, dash, console and door panels., and to shampoo my seats and/or carpet using the Extraction Method/Wet Method in the submitted vehicle for the purposes of cleaning/detailing the interior at my risk. I also release Malama Auto Detailing LLC from any liability pertaining to my vehicle for anything that may arise as result of this or any interior service.
Washing / Detailing Exterior:
I hereby authorize Malama Auto Detailing LLC if my vehicle’s exterior is being detailed or wash to use a chemical cleaning solution to wash the exterior, tires and wheels., and to apply compound, polish or wax or a combination of these by hand or machine applied in the submitted vehicle for the purposes of cleaning/detailing the exterior at my risk. I also release Malama Auto Detailing LLC from any liability pertaining to my vehicle for anything that may arise as result of this or any exterior service.
Vehicle Battery:
I hereby agree that Malama Auto Detailing LLC will have my doors opened to clean vehicle’s interior & could cause my battery to drain; I release them from any liability the battery drain may cause.
Ownership:
I hereby agree and certify that I am the registered owner of the vehicle submitted to Malama Auto Detailing LLC,and/or have authority by the registered owner(s) to submit vehicle to Malama Auto Detailing LLC.
Express Lien:
I hereby agree that an express lien is acknowledged on vehicle to secure the amount of the service thereto.
Law:
I hereby agree and certify that any claim or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above shall be resolved under Hawaii law. In the event of legal action is necessary, I agree to pay the attorney’s fees and court costs.
I HAVE FULLY READ THIS DOCUMENT “MALAMA AUTO DETAILING LLCʻs Terms and Conditions of Service” AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT BY BOOKING ONLINE/OFFLINE, MAKING AN APPOINTMENT BY PHONE OR IN PERSON, I VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER AND DISCHARGE “MALAMA AUTO DETAILING LLC” AND ALL OF ITS AFFILIATES, MEMBERS, STAFF, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM ALL CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION AND AGREE TO VOLUNTARILY GIVE UP OR WAVE ANY RIGHT THAT I OTHERWISE HAVE TO BRING A LEGAL ACTION AGAINST “MALAMA AUTO DETAILING LLC” FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
Changes to these Policies:
Malama Auto Detailing LLC has the discretion to update this privacy policies at any time.
Your acceptance of these terms:
By booking online and offline, purchasing, or requesting our service in person or by phone you signify your acceptance of these policies. If you do not agree to these policies, please do not book online or offline, purchase or make an appointment in person or by phone. Your continued use of our site following the posting of changes to these policies will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
